Karolina Oxelväg

Karolina Oxelväg presents installations where a shallow and heartfelt world confront each other. The works become a bubble where Oxelväg and the viewer can reflect together. The bubble can be a flood of bombastic movie kisses and pasted-on smiles or a sing-and-dance party. Sometimes the bubble is something that grows, just like what grew in Oxelväg. Since 2022, the bubble has consisted of the plastic. The plastic found in our water, our tears and breast milk.
