Anna Koben

Konsthantverkarna, Järntorgsgatan 2

A drawing with a yellow background, a cat/dog, a beer can and a pipe. At the top of the picture it says NOM NOM NOM, at the bottom of the picture it says DOG CAT & KOBEN. It is drawn in a childish style.

Anna Koben’s imagery is characterized by collisions between the distorted and the beautiful, between skilled craftsmanship and an irreverent approach to tradition and choice of material. She freely mixes found materials such as cardboard boxes and packaging with detailed drawings using different types of ink, chalk and paint to create an inspiring expression that is all her own.

A dog is drawn on a used pizza box.
