My art develops from what happens in a meeting. In the meeting with other people, with a material, a place or a community. I make physically usable sculptures who get functions, meanings and become animated in the meeting with the users. My work is often characterized by a shared artistic process with the artist as a collective body, where the artwork’s future receivers are involved in making it.
My interest lies in moving beyond art as representation of reality to practice art in our everyday environments.
